Alzheimer’s Services:

Long before the rest of the nation was recognizing the surge of Alzheimer’s and similar dementia, North central was working on ways to effectively care for dementia types of diagnoses. 

 

Consequently, North Central has a long history of successfully helping residents and families deal with the difficulties common to this type of diagnoses.  We have a specially designed Alzheimer’s Wing dedicated to providing for the specific need of Alzheimer’s residents.

Rehabilitation Department:

Complete Individualized rehabilitation Programs and Equipment. We specialize in the treatment of the frail elderly, including patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. We also treat complex rehab conditions such as stroke, multiple fractures and joint replacements that are addressed with a comprehensive, team-driven approach.

Services:

· Contractual Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists provided by Infinity Therapy Services

· 24 Hour Skilled Nursing Care

· On site Medical Director

· Complete Standard and Therapeutic Dietary Programs

· Pharmacy, X-Ray, Lab., Dentistry, Audiology

· Recreational therapy including Field Trips, Bingo, Attending Sporting Events, Pet Visits

· Chapel Services

· Facility Provided transportation: Both small luxury van and large group transportation

· Large Activity Staff assisting residents with activities such as: Creative Arts, Exercise Classes, Current Events, Reading, Movies, BBQs

· On Site Beauty Shop and Beautician for sets, cuts, perms and colors

· Security Including outside camera monitors, mandatory employee screening and electronic door monitoring
